Ingenuity

We are now in Vermont and we found many MOOSE!!  Check out Jack Sparrow moose, he’s the bees knees.

Great day, started off with a nice morning jog down to the park, followed by our trip to Portland.  On the way I finished book 3 of The Walking Dead series.  AMAZING!! I LOVE KILLING ZOMBIES!!!! Anyways, our first stop was at the Sweetpea vegan bakery, I had a cup of the old JOE with a cinnamon scone!! Afterwards we all headed over to a vegan tattoo parlor where Roi had his vegan tattoo touched up.  Following our trip to the tattoo parlor, we headed down to a piercing shop called Nomad, where Noah got snake bitten.. OUCH! Prior to leaving I decided to take a piercing home with me… It landed on my nose, smelled great and felt like I popped a zit, not bad.. Sassy!   Oh, I also finished book 4 of The Walking Dead, now I’m egger to find out what happens next.  At the moment we are waiting for dinner…BURRITOS!! I am so hunger, cannot wait till dinner, but until then…. Thank You Oregon, GOODNIGHT!

We skipped L.A. Warped yesterday to spend the day preparing and packing for tour.  We moved everything out of our studio and in to our trailer and began driving North to Salem, OR.

The 22-hour drive was pretty gruesome, but it was filled with some great memories.  Das and I (Jon) had the overnight shift, so we drove from 8PM until 6AM.  We occupied our time by blasting Hits of the 50s and 60s and by reminiscing of times when we were Orbie Ingersol’s Music Appreciate class and of when we were in our old band together, In Memory.

Noah and Roi took the next shifts and got us all the way into Oregon.  Somewhere around Lake Shasta, we pulled off and found a natural waterfall.  Das and I couldn’t resist going for a plunge!  It was suuuuppperrrrr cold and suuuupppperrrr refreshing!  Great times!

I drove the home stretch to Salem where we met up with Roi’s wife, Ashley, and his two pugs, Scooter and Gracie.  Pictures to follow…

Now we’re all glued to our MacBooks, getting some work done.  Dinner soon.  More updates as they come.

While driving through northern California, we found a little watering hole, so Jon and I decided to stand under the waterfall for a bit.. So cold!
